Assignment 10C-Help

Consider this passage from Brian’s Hunt:

They had planes and guns and radios and GPS but in some ways they had no knowledge because they had all the gadgets; they missed the small things because they saw too big.

What is the situation here? What does the author mean when he writes “they saw too big”? Who is he talking about?

Original:

This situation happens when Brian think back to all the modern technology when people went hunting. He said it because they dependent on technologies so much that they forget the skill of hunting. This passage, he was talk to the people that are hunting.

The situation happens when one of the rescuers asked Brian either he wants to follow them back to town or stay on the camp to hunt, but Brian decided to stay and hunt the bear, and he looked at those equipments that the rescuers had. In this sentence, “they missed the small things because they saw too big,” I think the author is trying to say that the rescuers did see that bear, but they ignored it because it was hard to kill a huge cruel animal. Brian is talking about the rescuers.

The situation was the Mountie asked the Natural Resources ranger to kill the bear but the ranger didnt know which one to kill. So, Brian said that " they saw too big" means the high technology made them forget the small thing, they depended on those gadgets.

The situation here is when Susana used the radio to call for help, they went to rescue her. The author mean "they saw too big" because the rescuers thad all the equipments but they didn't even bother to look for the bear. He was talking to the Natural Resoures Range.
